National Bowling Week

Bowl with us for only $1 per game all day every day during National Bowling Week, which is this coming week - August 29 - September 5, 2009. This is a GREAT time to come practice for the upcoming league season. Shoe rental is regular price, and we suggest you call ahead for lane availability, as a couple of leagues will be starting this week. Come bowl with US!

Senior Bowlers ages 50+ can bowl two games FREE...

...if they join us on Monday, August 31, 2009 at 12:00pm for our SENIORS WELCOME PARTY! We will be serving a lite lunch at 12:00 noon in our restaurant-LEGENDS BAR & GRILL; then, all bowlers will head to the lanes to bowl 2 games on the house!! That's right - lunch, bowling, and rental shoes (if you need them) are all provided NO CHARGE that day. What Fun!!! Plans are to discuss our upcoming Seniors Bowling Leagues, but there's no obligation to join one. Just lots and lots of FREE fun!!

Kids Bowl Free - First year success

A quick review of our wildly popular summer program -KIDS BOWL FREE - tells us one thing: What a GREAT program! We had 10,879 kids register for our free bowling all summer, and that was the MOST in the Nation (for individual participating centers)!! So...a big THANK YOU to all of you out there who participated with us this summer. I would ask everyone else to consider bowling with US next summer!!

Kids Bowl Free ending August 16th

Well, it is hard to believe but school is getting back in session and the summer break is drawing to a close. And, our KIDS BOWL FREE program is winding down as well. Sunday, August 16th is your last day to bring the coupons and the kids and bowl on us! We hope everyone who participated had FUN with us this summer. And yes - we will most assuredly have this program again next summer! Thanks to all who signed up for this great program - over 9,000 kids total!!

Two Youth Bowlers hit 300 on same day!

16-year old JR Clemons of Mt Juliet, and 12-year old Aaron Ruiz of Nashville both "struck gold" last Thursday in our Youth Singles Classic league, as JR rolled a 300 game & 811 series, while Aaron rolled his 2nd 300 game! JR now has 4 300's to his credit, and the 811 was his 2nd 800 series. Aaron, as pictured above, was the youngest in the state to bowl a 300 when he rolled his first one in January 2008. That title has since fallen to his good buddy Kamron Doyle. Still, Aaron has been working really hard to do it again and finally got it. Nice bowling for two nice young men!!

Senior bowler Don Talley rolls 300-857!

Today in our Summer Seniors Club bowling league, 62-years young Don Talley of Mt. Juliet rolled games of 278-300-279 for an outstanding 857 series!! Don has been bowling most of his life, and has been a league bowler at Hermitage for many years. He now has 10 300 games, and three 800 series, of which this one is, by far, the highest. Don's great set is the 7th highest series ever bowled here at Hermitage Lanes, and the highest by a Senior bowler. Way to go, Don...we are all VERY proud of you!!

Mark and Kyle - 299!

We will start off the month of June with a "personal" post. I am very proud that my 13-year old son Kyle recently rolled a near-perfect 299 game! But most outstanding was that he & I had our names on the "Honor Score Board" side-by-side, as I also rolled a 299 the same week!! Lots of fun for the old man last week. Congratulations, Kyle!!
